This ready to roll out package is designed to be used on a weekly basis and is carefully crafted around a learning theme which runs for around 6-7 weeks.
These themes have been specifically chosen to ensure that content is varied and most of all relevant to the experiences of the children themselves, giving the vocabulary context for real life purposes.
During each session we embark on an exciting adventure giving an opportunity to focus on a special word related to the theme, which is then used in an accompanying song. These special words continue to be referred to as the theme progresses to further instil this new vocabulary.
Each session lasts around 30 minutes and follows a similar structure each time:
Alongside the video, all members of EnCantada Online have access to the session guidance notes where you will find our focus word with phonetic pronunciation, song lyrics, suggested actions and movements for all children from newborn up, an activity to try and curriculum links and observation opportunities for EYFS practitioners.
If you don’t speak any Spanish yourself…¡No pasa nada! It doesn’t matter! Play the videos, enjoy making music and actions and learn together.

The only equipment we think is really important for our sessions is access to musical instruments, but if you don’t have these in your home or setting, don’t worry! Our welcome information provides suggestions on how you use what you will already have to hand and even how you can make your own ones!

All sections of the videos are time stamped, so if you find yourself with a 10 minute gap to fill, want to make some noise with instruments, or just fancy a dance around, you can jump straight to the section with ease.

To accompany the video sessions, guidance notes complement each session with lyrics and song actions, an activity to try, as well as curriculum links and observation opportunities for EYFS practitioners.
